About Wellorious

Wellorious publishes clear, evidence-informed guidance on everyday health, fitness and healthy ageing for adults who want to feel stronger and more capable over the years ahead.

Why Wellorious exists

Health advice is easy to find and hard to trust. Headlines swing between extremes, and a single study can be turned into a rule for everyone. Wellorious exists to slow that down: to take one practical question at a time, look at what the research actually shows, and explain it in plain language you can use.

We write for women and men who want sensible, sustainable habits rather than quick fixes, whether they are just getting started or refining a routine they already have. Our main readers are in the United States and Canada.

The Five Foundations

Everything we publish is organized around five Foundations:

  • Nourish — food and eating patterns that support energy, metabolic health and muscle.
  • Move — everyday activity, walking and time spent sitting.
  • Build — strength, muscle and bone, and the capability they protect.
  • Recover — sleep, rest and the recovery that makes progress possible.
  • Repeat — habits, consistency and getting back on track after life gets in the way.

Each article has one primary Foundation, so you can follow a single area or browse all articles. If you are new, Start Here explains how the pieces fit together.

How we publish

Articles are published by Wellorious Editorial. We use relevant, checkable sources, list them with each article, and say plainly where the evidence is limited, mixed or still developing. AI tools may help with research organization, drafting or editing; human editorial judgment remains responsible for checking claims, sources, tone and medical boundaries before anything is published.

Unless an article names a qualified professional who has reviewed it, it has not been medically reviewed, and we will not describe it that way. Our full approach is set out in our Editorial Standards. If you spot an error, our Corrections Policy explains how to report it and how we handle corrections.

Education, not medical advice

Wellorious provides general education. It cannot account for your medical history, medications or individual circumstances, and it is not a substitute for advice from a doctor or other qualified professional. Please speak with one before making significant changes, particularly if you have a health condition, take medication or are unsure whether something is right for you. See our Medical Disclaimer for details.

Free content and optional resources

Our articles are free to read, and so is our 5 Simple Shifts guide. We also sell a small number of optional paid resources, such as the 14-Day Metabolic Reset PDF, for readers who want a more structured plan. You do not need to buy anything to benefit from what we publish, and selling our own resources does not determine what our articles conclude.

Who runs Wellorious

Wellorious is operated by Jayde Energy (Pty) Ltd, a private company registered in South Africa, trading as Wellorious. Full supplier details are in our Terms of Use and Sale, and our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
