Editorial Standards

Last updated: 24 September 2026

Wellorious publishes practical, evidence-informed information to help adults live better. Our articles are educational. They are not individual medical advice.

How we choose and develop articles

We begin with a useful reader question and check that a proposed article adds something distinct to the existing Wellorious library. Each article has one primary lens within our five Foundations: Nourish, Move, Build, Recover and Repeat.

Evidence and uncertainty

We use relevant, checkable sources and explain what findings mean in everyday terms. We distinguish study results from interpretation, describe meaningful limitations and avoid presenting an association as proof of cause. Sources appear with each article so readers can inspect them.

Human editorial responsibility

AI tools may assist with research organization, drafting or editing. Human editorial judgment remains responsible for checking factual claims, sources, tone and medical boundaries before publication. Unless a qualified professional review is specifically identified, an article should not be described as medically reviewed.

Commercial independence

Wellorious may sell its own educational products and may later use affiliate links. Commercial relationships do not determine editorial conclusions. Relevant commercial connections are disclosed near recommendations. We do not claim to have personally tested a product unless we have actually done so.

Corrections and updates

We review credible reports of mistakes and correct material factual errors. An important correction may receive a dated note. New evidence, guidance and broken links can also prompt an update. See our Corrections Policy.

Our standard

We aim for useful explanations, proportionate claims, plain language, clear uncertainty and respect for readers with different circumstances. No miracle cures, guaranteed outcomes or manufactured urgency.
